Born in Lagos, by multi-awarding Producer, journalist and humanitarian Funmi Iyanda, OYA is an international production company with offices in London and Lagos. Our goal is to tell great human stories through original universal content crafted across film, television, diverse interactive platforms and events.

Established recently, our Nigeria office, set in the heart of Lagos, works locally to source talent and create content that resonate internationally. Manned by an experienced team of content alchemists who have produced multi award winning shows, the office is fully equipped with a production studio where Oya ideas comes to life.

 Oya also works on ground in Nigeria through our new born NON-PROFIT arm. Launched earlier this year, OYA Development initiative, is our non-profit arm set up to create content in pursuit of social justice and cohesion as well. as to create the next generation of exceptional film makers and journalists.

OYA’s vision is to take stories, mostly of and from Africa to a global audience, feeding the world a more expansive viewpoint from our collective humanity.
