In Conversation With My Mother is a vibrant and enchanting one-night event, bridging spoken word, dance, art, and music, into the telling of an inspiring story which took place last August. Oya Chronicles cleverly synergizes Funmi’s haunting dialogue with dance and an artistic re-imagining of her blue woman muse. This formed the foundational symbol of the evening.
